 Dear ACPC Community,

The current health crisis and economic situation around the world is continuously evolving. In these unprecedented times, supporting our aviation community is particularly important. As a non-profit organization, we exist only to provide opportunities for our members to network, learn and do business together. Personal connections will be key as our industry rebuilds and makes its comeback. Therefore, your 2020 ACPC Board of Directors and Planning Committee continue to move forward with the planning of the 2020 Air Carriers Purchasing Conference. It is of paramount importance for us to create an enjoyable and safe environment during your time at this year’s conference. Rest assured that our focus is on the safety of our attendees and providing you peace of mind, by incorporating elements around hygiene, social distancing, crowd control, and minimizing lines whenever possible.

I traveled to Dallas earlier this month to meet with the staff at the Hilton Anatole, as well as with our other vendors, to explore new ways of creating environments which foster face-to-face interactions, while implementing practices that promote the health and safety of our attendees. We devoted our time to rethinking space allocation to accommodate physical distancing requirements, including areas such as badge pickup and queue lines, ANF traffic flow, Roundtable Sessions and ballroom capacity levels.

As a Hilton property, the Anatole is taking additional measures,as part of their new Hilton Clean Stay program, developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC), to make their cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous. Additionally, Hilton will implement new Food & Beverage guidelines in early July that will address physical distancing regional regulations, amplified hygiene & sanitation requirements and additional space to accommodate attendee flow for all banquet, buffet and reception events.

This year, the conference will conclude on Monday night, instead of Tuesday afternoon, to minimize the number of days our attendees will be away from the office. This will also allow for attendees who need to set up a booth at the convention center for MRO Americas, taking place in Dallas later that week. As a courtesy to our attendees, the Hilton Anatole is offering a limited number of rooms at the ACPC reduced rate of $189.00 plus tax on Tuesday and Wednesday nights for those attendees who are participating in both the ACPC and the MRO who prefer to remain at the Anatole instead of switching hotels to attend the MRO.

The next 30-60 days will be critical, as lockdown restrictions are lifted and businesses begin to reopen. If for any reason, we determine that we are not able to provide a safe environment for our attendees to network and do business together, we will re-evaluate our current direction. Our refund policy can be found on our website. However, any paid registrant who cancels before 5pm ET on Friday July 17 th will receive a full refund for Registration, ANF booth and/or Corporate Sponsorship fees, as applicable. In the unlikely event that the ACPC cancels the conference, all paid registrants are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid to the ACPC, as well, within 30 days of notification. The ACPC will not ask our attendees to defer their payment for next year’s conference, nor will we charge a cancellation fee.

The ACPC is the most productive conference in the aviation industry worldwide and this year’s planning committee is excited to plan the 2020 conference in a way that will be inspirational, educational, lots of fun and safe for you to attend.

Registration is now open and online at www.acpc.com . We encourage you to register EARLY, as attendance is limited this year to allow for social distancing.

I look forward to seeing you in Dallas!

Best Regards,

Karen Cantor- Riggi
