ACPC Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy reflects the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference’s (ACPC) collection, use, and protection measures related to your Personal Information. The privacy and security of those who work with ACPC is very important to us, and ACPC is committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure we comply with our obligations to safeguard your privacy and Personal Information.

You should read this policy carefully and ensure you understand it so that you know how and why we collect, use, and protect your Personal Information.

ACPC collects only such information as is voluntarily provided by you to us for the purposes of engaging our services, or provided to us by third parties such as current and past members, aviation industry professionals, regulators, and other participants in the aerospace, manufacturing, finance, and insurance industries. ACPC collects Personal Information for the purposes of processing membership dues, listing in membership rolls, processing of fees related to conference registrations, sponsorships, and exhibition fees, listing in conference attendee rosters, and electronic and paper correspondence related to membership, conferences, and industry updates via the ACPC marketing communications, ACPC.com, and ACPC Social Media Accounts such as LinkedIn. ACPC may collect this data in writing or orally or via mail, email, fax, telephone, or the contact feature on the ACPC website. ACPC may collect your Personal Information at the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference or other industry events when that information is provided by you or made generally available to the public via business cards, brochures, advertisements and the like.

Personal Information collected by ACPC includes the following: name, job title, company name, physical address, email address, telephone numbers, including mobile numbers, fax numbers, financial information including bank account information, checking account information, credit card information, wire transfer and ACH information, product line information, business information, and survey information for the purposes of improving ACPC Conferences, events and other ACPC offerings.

Additional purposes for which ACPC may use your Personal Information include correspondence regarding opportunities to participate in ACPC events, participation in working groups, and direct marketing of ACPC events and opportunities.

Your data is used only as required to perform the services and provide the benefits for which it has been provided, and as described above, or as necessary to comply with any legal or regulatory requirements, or when you have provided explicit consent to use your Personal Information for some other purpose.

Any third-party Personal Information provided to us by you must be consistent with this Privacy Policy.

ACPC does not sell or share Personal Information with third-party marketers offering products and services, however ACPC does include certain personal information—name, title, company, address, email, telephone numbers, and fax number—in ACPC literature including the ACPC Member Directory and ACPC Conference App. You may opt out of inclusion in any of these sources at any time.

ACPC takes the protection of Personal Information very seriously and maintains physical, electronic, and procedural processes to prevent unauthorized disclosure.

You may, at any time, request the opportunity to review, edit, revise, or delete any of your Personal Information that has been provided to ACPC by you, a third party, or otherwise obtained by ACPC. ACPC will take immediate action with respect to any such requests, although we may retain Personal Information as necessary to comply with any legal or regulatory requirements. ACPC will generally retain personal information provided by you or third parties only for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide the services or process the transactions for which it was provided and to protect ACPC’s legal rights.

For certain types of Personal Information, such as Member and participant information provided in the ACPC Conference Mobile App and Attendee lists, we may retain the data until it is no longer necessary for those purposes or until you request revision or deletion of the Personal Information.
