Jay Bant, Director of Sales with HRD Aero Systems will be serving a one-year term as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer on the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC) Board of Directors. As the 2024 Supplier Chair in Dallas, TX, Jay is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the conference, including selecting and leading a team of dedicated industry professionals who make up the ACPC Supplier Committee.
Jay began his aviation career back in 2002 as a Sales Manager with Air Cruisers Company (now Safran) in New Jersey. Jay moved over to HRD in 2011and handles all the sales and marketing for evacuation systems, O2, Fire and Helicopter Floats for HRD in the southern region of the US.
Jay has been a ACPC volunteer since 2004 and started working on the committee in 2015 as the Golf Coordinator. During this time frame on the Committee, Jay has taken on various leadership roles of the conference and loves being part of it every year.
He lives in Wall, New Jersey with his wife, Christine, of 25 years. Jay has one daughter, an NC State University graduate, who lives in Raleigh, NC. His son is presently a Junior at Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ and plays Division 1 baseball for their team.
Jay continues to play as much golf as he can and has now started playing pickle ball. He loves to travel (especially to Texas), watch his son play baseball and is always up for a NC State football game with his daughter.
