2025 Airline Chairman – Mandy Smith

Mandy Smith is the 2025 Airline Chair for the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference. She is responsible for the recruitment of new airlines as Chair of the ACPC Airline Steering Committee, along with selecting the charity recipient of the 2025 ACPC Gives Back. Mandy attended her first ACPC in Atlanta in 2016 and has served regularly as a conference volunteer in the Roundtable Sessions since then. Mandy has assembled an impressive airline steering committee consisting of leaders from Delta and Japan Airlines to support her efforts.


Mandy serves as General Manager Warranty & Contract Entitlements for TechOps Supply Chain Management at Delta Air Lines (Delta). Mandy leads the strategy development and execution of processes to capture cost savings and profit contribution for Delta through the continuous improvement of internal operational practices to ensure compliance and accountability specific to Delta’s contractual relationships with its OEM and MRO supplier partners. Mandy’s responsibilities also include leading a team of Supply Chain Warranty Specialists, Repair Warranty Specialists, and Engine Warranty Program Managers responsible for the analysis, substantiation, and filing of all warranty, guarantee, and entitlement claims.


Mandy has developed her career within Delta Warranty by working her way up through different positions, building upon her experience to create the Warranty & Contract Entitlement team that exists within the TechOps Supply Chain organization today. Prior to this, Mandy enjoyed over two years supporting top executives at Delta as an Executive Assistant, where she was empowered and entrusted to influence critical business decisions.


Before joining Delta in January 2016, Mandy served our country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during Operation Enduring Freedom, trained animals at Zoo Atlanta, taught 9th grade Biology, and was Executive Officer (Chief of Staff) at the British Consulate General in Atlanta. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Georgia State University. Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, Karl; their children, Troy and Laurel; and being with animals as much as possible.
